What to Expect
As a guest at Foundation Church, you can expect to be greeted at the door by a cheerful smile and a hand shake from folks who are genuinely glad you’re here. Prior to the worship service that starts at 10AM, you will have some coffee and espresso options as you get to know a church family who will treat you like family also. If you have children between nursery age to 5th grade and would like to use our Sunday School ministry, you can check them in through our KidCheck system.
If you have children from 6th-8th grade, we have a Junior High ministry that begins immediately after the song service. The Junior Highers will be welcomed to dismiss to the youth room with Pastor Brian Payne.
During the worship service, you can expect both traditional and contemporary songs in a more contemporary music style. During the teaching time, you can expect Pastor Russ Counts to bring a message from the Bible that will encourage you and leave you with practical application for day-to-day life in the world.
Our Vision & Mission
We believe the ultimate mission of every Christian Church is to glorify God by making disciples of all the nations (Matt 28:19-20).
With Jesus as our solid Foundation, we will continue to build around “two pillars” in our ministry: discipleship and missions. We live and plan with a vision of internally strong believers who are externally focused and confident to live vibrant lives on mission according to the Acts 1:8 blueprint- (in our community, region, and world). We will support and partner with strategic ministries and mission organizations that help us and them better fulfill the ultimate mission we share!
We define a disciple as a person who is a follower of Jesus Christ who has been called to grow into the mature lifestyle that Jesus Himself would live if He were in their place.
We have personalized God’s ultimate mission with a simple purpose statement that gets to the heart of what we want our church to be about. Our purpose is to know, grow and show Jesus! We believe that we have been called to equip people to know, grow, and show Jesus in their every-day lives and relationships.
Our Pastoral Leadership Team:
Our pastoral leadership team recognizes the authority of God and realizes that we are shepherds who serve under the Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ. We work in tandem with our deacons and trustees. We desire to devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the Word. Our passion and goal is to equip believers for the work of the ministry until we all attain maturity in the fullness of Christ.
